About Our Pet Care Boarding Facility

The dog living room is cozy and furnished with an open indoor play area leading to the kitchen and an open door to an adjacent small outdoor run, and then again to a much larger monitored run area where dogs can run and frolic with their friends;  All  areas are fenced and gated. The living room wood stove provides a lovely warmth and comfort for the elderly and tired dogs after play.   Please note that we have AIR CONDITIONING for the hot days of the summer!!!  Pack play time is all day everyday except for a much needed 2 hour doggy nap time.  We provide crates and separated sleep areas for dogs not accustomed to crating.  Daily on leash walks are provided on our beautiful rural country roads and parks.
Our main goal is to be providing a home like feel for your pet while providing plenty of play and leisure time accordingly to dogs of all ages and sizes:  Our resort gives new meaning to the word boarding, daycare, and kennel!   Natural green products are used in Pawsh.

Our cat suites are separated from the everyday going on of our canine buddies.  Each suite provides a cat tree, a cozy chair, and a window for your kitty to gaze out upon our beautiful acreage! Natural wood pellets are provided as litter. Dry and wet cat food are provided at no extra cost.

MONDAY through FRIDAY 630AM to 1030AM and 330PM to 6PM
SATURDAY 900AM To 1030AM and 330PM to 5PM 
SUNDAY  930AM to 1030AM and 4PM to 530PM
STATS 930AM TO 1030AM and 4PM TO 5PM
CLOSED TO PUBLIC Christmas Day and New Years Day
We are only accepting dog and or cat stays of 10 days or more through the Christmas holidays with a $100 non refundable retainer fee per pet.   
Daily rural on leash dog walks are provided at no extra charge.
UNLESS A SPECIAL DROP OFF OR PICK UP OUTSIDE OF OUR PUBLIC HOURS IS APPROVED FOR A $20 FEE, WE CAN NOT WELCOME OR RELEASE YOUR PET.  Please text us a message at 250 580 7299 at any time and we will get back to you when we have a quiet moment!  A $10 late fee will be charged if a DAYCARE PET is picked up more than 15 minutes past our closed time.  We will not continue to accept daycare pets if repeatedly picked up late.


Bookings for a dog trial and/or cat stay can be booked through our main kennel line at 250 580 7299 (pawz); A  mandatory trial day is needed initially to assess your dog and can be done with or without an open house viewing (Trial WEEK days are done between our drop off and pick up times accordingly);  We will have two Monday open house viewings per month (Details provided on services/rates page). One owner (or 2 parents) are welcomed to a viewing.
All bowls, blankets, beds, and toys must be left at home.  All DOG kibble must be appropriately and individually bagged PER meal and LABELED with instructions regarding daily amounts (feedings). A dog boarding with us for more than 14 days may be accompanied with a labelled container of food rather than separate baggies.  MEDS - PILLS MUST BE PUT IN A PILL PACK WITH LABELS, MEDICAL AILMENTS, AND INSTRUCTIONS CLEARLY PRINTED (Pets will not be accepted unless pills are put in a weekly/monthly pill container.  INSULIN (WITH BACKUP INSTRUCTIONS) MUST BE DISCUSSED WITH VET IN CASE OF (STRESS RELATED) LACK OF APPETITE.  INSULIN MUST BE PACKED IN AN INSULATED CONTAINER.  ALL INSTRUCTIONS, RE. MEDS OUTSIDE OF PAWSH HOURS, MUST BE DISCUSSED AND ACCEPTED BY VET, PAWSH, AND OWNER.
New dogs (independently from their owners) will be individually evaluated and introduced slowly into the pack on a scheduled trial day.  We DO accept "drop and go" dogs, that have had no trial day:  They MUST have an emergency contact and preferably a referral.
No aggression or problem barking allowed.  If an aggression or chronic barking issue arises in your dog, he/she will be muzzled.
Flea and tick prevention are mandatory prior to each stay and are the responsibility of the owner.
All vaccinations must be up to date prior to boarding for both cats and dogs and it is the responsibility of the owners to update and supply copies to Pawsh.  Please note that the Bordetella vaccination does not cover all "bacterial and virus" kennel cough.  
​Up to date vaccination records are the responsibility of the owner and can be turned away if not provided.
Please note that we are not staffed for grooming so it is the responsibility of the owner to book before or after appointments at their groomers for their pet; Brushing dogs and cats can be done on request with provided brush at no extra cost ONLY if there is time to so during a slow day/period. 
We thank you in advance for your patience on pick up and drop off as we have to put most dogs inside before we can bring your pet out to greet you; The pack outside (and inside) will react and continuously and loudly bark because of your car and or presence; Please note that brief LOUD admissions by myself and staff will be a response to a "snap pack" to BRING ENERGY LEVEL DOWN;   Dog martingale collaring and leashing for pack walks is currently done by our front gates (until husband works down his honeydo list and creates a more workable spot). Please allow 5 minutes extra in your etas for payments or in case we are dealing with more than one client at a time.  We sometimes accept pets that are not booked and that are last minute dc dog drop offs on WEEK days but cannot guarantee this in our busy season.  All weekend daycare dogs must be booked ahead of time.
