- Dog Boarding / Daycare TAX INCLUDED IN PRICES . WE ONLY ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS AS A PAYMENT METHOD.
- TRIAL DAYS DURING THE WEEK, FOR DOGS, CAN BE ARRANGED BY CONTACTING OUR MAIN LINE AT 250 580 7299 (pawz) BY TEXT. A TRIAL DAY IS A FULL SIZED DAY, DURING THE WEEK,THAT WORKS FOR YOU AND YOUR DOG (IN BETWEEN DROP OFF TIMES OF 630 AM AND 1030 AM and PICK UP TIMES BEWEEN 330 PM AND 6 PM); Your dog will be independently evaluated and integrated into the pack. Please wait outside of the main gate and phone the provided kennel # at ( 250 580 7299) and a Pawsh attendant will come out and take in/return your pet! A fee of $25 will be charged for a trail day and a $100 nonrefundable retainer towards your dog's first boarding stay will be taken to secure his/her spot . A 5 or 10 day nonrefundable daycare card may be purchased

- Punch cards are nonrefundable and are valid for one year. No shows or cancellations CAN be taken off scheduled daycare days accordingly if abused.

- Unneutered boarding dogs are an $10 extra a day with an emergency contact in place.
- All dogs must be brought in with a leash and regular collar (NO HARNESSES ACCEPTED).
- Leashes are returned to the owner before leaving for stay.
- Cat Suite Boarding ( 4 day minimum stay FIRST visit TAX INCLUDED).
- PLEASE NOTE THAT A $100 NONREFUNDABLE RETAINER (towards first visit per pet) WILL BE TAKEN UPON A FIRST BOOKING FOR NEW CLIENTS. FOR CHRISTMAS BOOKINGS A $100 NONFUNDABLE RETAINER, FOR EACH PET, WILL BE TAKEN FOR NEW AND PRESENT CLIENTS FOR A VISIT OF 10 DAYS OR MORE. Dry and Wet food provided for felines. We will accept provided food if preferred unless it is during Christmas dates.

- All cats must be brought into the facility in a crate or cat carrier.
- Please speak to owner regarding rates for different numbers and combos of your fur family. ;)
- Please speak to owner for pricing if stay is over 1 month (30 days).
- Written instructions must always be provided with medication.
- Medications must be put in pill organizer - $2.50 per administered dose. If pills are not provided in a pill organizer we will not accept your pet. Pill organizers (and food baggies for dogs), if needed, are provided at Pawsh for clients to organize medications before accepting pets into the facility. We are not responsible for meds already added to meal bags and not consumed. We are not responsible for "pill" meds provided without a proper divider. Insulin MUST be provided in a shatterproof container (empty pill containers work well, and in addition, masking tape layered on glass insulin bottle); We are not responsible if an insulin bottle breaks without these requests. (We, of course, will alert vet to provide a prescription in such a case but the obvious difficulties can arise). An extra $10 a day will be charged for insulin dependent boarders.
- Vets must be consulted re timed medications before visit and to be altered if needed to fit within our hours daytime hours.
- Total amount of pay must be paid on drop off. Additional requested days booked during pet's stay must be paid on pick up. Late fees outside of our hours must be consented to by staff and be paid for on pick up.
- All vaccinations must be up to date and it is the responsibility of the owner to continue to provide records. Note; The bordetella vaccination only covers one strain of kennel cough and is not always automatically given by all vets and might have to be requested.
- A dog diagnosed with Giardia CAN NOT come back to Pawsh until a clear bill of health is issued from vet and an additional one month after this as Giardia is highly contagious and 'clear bill of health" is controversial. A DIAGNOSIS OF GIARDIA MUST BE REPORTED TO US ASAP.
- All DOG kibble must be prepackaged in labelled baggies for each meal. All wet food must be labelled with feeding instructions. Written instructions must be provided detailing amt. of feedings per day. If your dog is lean and or high energy we recommend extra food be left on longer stays; We also recommend extra food in case a pick up time has to be extended for any reason.
- Any dogs that show signs of aggression will be muzzled. If aggression issues continue while muzzled, the dog will be separated from the pack and emergency contact may be phoned and the dog banned. Chronic barkers will be muzzled and banned.
- LEASHED WALKS are with martingales provided by Pawsh. If your dog is a flat nosed breed with breathing problems or has trachea issues, we cannot safely provide a walk as dogs can be Houdinis with regular collars or harnesses. If your dog is a breed that does not respond well to heat, ice (salt), or martingales, etc, please give us specific instructions re. walks. I do walks until the temperature is above 22 degrees; I do adjust walk times during hot days to do them earlier while cooler. We do not accept EXTREME pullers on walks. Walks are not provided on weekends and when boss lady is away on vacay. Please acknowledge on drop off if your dog is experiencing an off day so we can adjust their day accordingly.
- All bowls, leashes, beds, toys, cat collars, and crates must be left at home. We provide blankets and cushions! Picture requests are happily provided but please be patient with us as some days are incredibly busy so it could be a day or so! NOTE; We are not staffed for EVERY DAY picture requests; Your patience and understanding is greatly appreciated in this area! We will do our very best to make your pet feel "at home" while providing human and canine/feline companionship; Your pet will come home exhausted and happy!
- Unneutered and unspayed dogs are accepted until hormones start affecting the pack and an emergency contact will be called for pick up. Dogs that are not a constant PAWsh daycare dog and over one year old will not be accepted for boarding. Unspayed females cannot come to our facility when they start their heat cycle and will not be accepted until one month after their first "day of heat".
- We are not responsible for loss of valuables. Your dog must come for a stay with a REGULAR collar (no harnesses, martingales, or prongs), food, instructions, and meds (if needed) with proper instructions and separated in a labelled pill divider. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANYTHING UNLABELED; Labeling is time consuming and is the responsibility of the owner.
- All pick ups and drop offs are done outside of our main gates; A number (2505807299) is provided to call our kennel attendant to come outside and take your pet. No entry into our facility or beyond our main gate is allowed except on one of our twice a month open house viewings (without your dog or cat) in which we have removed the pack from our main area.
- An individual entering our building, with a pack, causes barking and angst and can be very dangerous. A calm pack is a happy pack! Please keep drop offs short, sweet, and unemotional as emotion can cause angst in your dog, especially in front of a gate or door. We will acknowledge a client appropriately if a parent is affecting their pet on entrance and or pick up with inappropriate behavior (EG Sticking hands through gate, animated behaviour etc). Please stay in vehicle until pets before you are inside our gates and their parents in their vehicle. Thank you so much for your cooperation in maintaining a calm oasis for your pets!
***WE WILL TRY AND DO VIEWINGS TWICE A MONTH EXCEPT DURING BUSY SEASONS. OUR NOVEMBER DATES ARE THE 5TH AND 19TH AT 630 PM FOR DOG PARENTS AND 7 PM FOR CAT PARENTS. PLEASE TXT AT 250 580 7299 AND OUR STAFF WILL PHONE YOU TO COMFIRM. We will take booked clients as a group through at 630 and 7 appropriately so please arrive at least 5 minutes early.
